Book Giveaway: Boy by Roald Dahl

My favorite word is Whizzpopping! Aside from not being a hard-to-spell one, I like to use it when I describe things like soda when I do not have an adjective to say. It’s weird because people don’t understand it but the word says exactly what I want to say! hehe

Congratulations to the winner of our Roald Dahl giveaway contest! We shall contact you for your mailing details so that we can send you your very own copy of Roald Dahl’s Boy. We’re certain that you’ll provide a lovely home for this scrumptious book.

On that note, we shall end Roald Dahl month. It has been a lovely January and we would like to thank everyone for keeping us company. It’s a new month, which means that there will be a new author to feature on The Exchange and more books to read.

Thanks again and happy reading!

A scrumdiddlyumptious day to fellow book lovers everywhere!

To mark the end of a glorious month with Roald Dahl, our featured author for January, we are giving away a copy of Boy, which is every bit as fantastic as the man who wrote it.

Among all of the words that Roald Dahl has invented, which one is your favorite and why?

  • Submit your answers here. If you’re not using a Tumblr account, you can leave your name and e-mail address (we’ll keep these details private). We shall wait for your entries until the end of the month.
  • The contest is open only to readers who live in the Philippines (We would love to include everyone and, hopefully soon, we can figure out the best way to send internationally.)

The reader with the best answer will win this riot of a book along with a few odds and ends from the good folks over here at The Exchange. As soon as we have chosen a winning entry, we’ll be contacting the winner for his or her complete name and mailing address. This information will not be published on the blog.

This is a way for us to spread our love for the man who has been responsible for the wild inner workings of our brains. We adore his stories and we adore those who enjoy reading them as well.
