I’m currently reading fantasy to escape my writing woes. The deadliest deadlines are killing me.
A side note: I’ve been curious about Garth Nix’s Abhorsen trilogy for a long time. So curious, in fact, that I bought Lirael and Abhorsen separately over the course of about a year when I saw them in sales. I stumbled onto Sabriel tonight, and felt that it was the perfect time to start reading the series. I’ve been too absorbed in the mundane lately, and feel it is time for some magic. I have missed fantasy and science fiction. It’s been too long, old friends.
